Please read the update on behalf of Rawtenstall Cricket Club Committee :
CV19
These are worrying time for all concerned and connected with the club, and our first thought’s are with anybody who has been or will be affected by the virus. Be safe people.
Cricket
Following on from the ECB directive, all Senior and Junior training and matches are suspended indefinitely as is the Groundforce day. At this stage we have very little idea what the new season will look like or when it will take place, we will of course communicate this information as soon as possible and we hope to see some cricket this summer.
Bar
The bar will be closed until future notice, with some exceptions (see below) we will of course adhere to any escalation of government policy.
Farmers Market
The Farmers Market on Sunday (10-3) will proceed, the organisers believe they have strict hygiene standards in place which have been enhanced for Sundays event, where possible please keep an appropriate distance from fellow attendees.
There will be a bar service for drinks to be consumed outside.
BAR OPEN FROM 12 ON SUNDAY WITH DISCOUNTED DRINK PRICES
Memberships
It will be a challenging year for all and the cricket club will be no different – we are only as strong as our brilliant members so we will be adding functionality to our website over the coming weeks for payment of membership for those can and wish to support the club.
